This lesson introduces you to Functional Exercise. Functional Exercises are designed to restore, balance, lengthen, strengthen and coordinate movement patterns specific to the individual’s work or sports environment. Lesson 8 begins with the Isolation Phase of functional exercise – a phase that targets muscles that are commonly weakened in our world of limited movement variety.

You’ll learn how to read an exercise program as well as how to perform a number of Phase I exercises.
