For practitioners ready to elevate their confidence, their credibility, and the level of service they deliver.
Build greater confidence and certainty
There's a different level of confidence that comes when you know exactly what you're looking at. IMS Level 2 helps you assess with greater precision, make decisions with more certainty, and stop second-guessing your recommendations.
Raise your professional self-belief
As your skill deepens, so does the way you see yourself. IMS Level 2 helps you step forward with greater authority, stronger clinical presence, and the self-esteem that comes from knowing your work is operating at a much higher standard.
Deliver a truly premium service
This level gives you the tools to offer a far more bespoke and sophisticated service—one that stands apart from generic coaching and standard corrective exercise. That creates a stronger experience for clients and a stronger position for you in the market.
Attract higher-level clients
Greater precision allows you to work more effectively with clients who expect more—executives, professional athletes, high performers, and people deeply invested in their health and longevity. These clients are not looking for generic advice. They want expertise they can trust.
Increase your income through greater value
When your assessment process is more advanced and your programs are more individualized, your service becomes harder to compare and harder to replace. That gives you a stronger basis for charging more and building a more profitable practice.
Become the practitioner people remember
IMS Level 2 helps you deliver the kind of depth, clarity, and precision that clients talk about. It strengthens your reputation, increases referrals, and positions you as the practitioner people seek out when they want a higher standard of care.

IMS Level 1 gives you an exceptional foundation.
IMS Level 2 is where that foundation becomes a truly distinctive level of practice.
IMS Level 1 gives you clarity
After IMS Level 1, many practitioners already feel more capable than most of their peers. They can assess posture, identify key patterns, and build better corrective programs. For some, that alone is a major leap forward.
IMS Level 2 gives you certainty
The practitioners who continue to IMS Level 2 are usually looking for something more: greater precision, greater specificity, and a deeper level of confidence in their decision-making. They want to know exactly what they are seeing and exactly how to respond.
IMS Level 2 sets you apart
This is where your work begins to look very different from standard fitness coaching and standard corrective exercise. Your assessments become more refined, your prescriptions become more bespoke, and your service becomes much harder to compare.
The best practitioners keep developing
The practitioners who build the strongest reputations are rarely the ones who stop at the first level of competence. They keep refining, measuring, integrating, and deepening their skill until their work speaks for itself.
IMS Level 2 opens the door to a deeper level of practice, a more premium client base, and far greater professional freedom.
Work in premium wellness and performance environments
IMS Level 2 prepares you to work in boutique studios, high-end wellness centers, and performance facilities where clients expect a higher level of assessment and individualized care. It also creates opportunities to work within sport—supporting both amateur and professional athletes with more precise assessment and bespoke programming.
Work alongside rehabilitation professionals
IMS Level 2 equips you to work alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and other rehabilitation professionals—particularly once clients have completed acute care and are ready to rebuild strength, stability, and movement quality through advanced corrective exercise and performance-focused programming.
Build your own CHEK-based practice
Many practitioners use IMS Level 2 as the foundation for creating their own premium practice—whether operating independently, within a wellness setting, or alongside other health professionals. It gives you a distinct service model centered on advanced assessment, bespoke programming, and a higher standard of client care.
Deliver a level of service few practitioners can match
IMS Level 2 delivers a depth of assessment and individualized programming that goes far beyond what is typically available in either the fitness industry or the medical rehabilitation field. Combined with Holistic Lifestyle Coaching, it allows you to work at a much deeper level—creating results that build trust, referrals, reputation, and long-term professional growth.

Real results from real graduates.
This is what changes after IMS Level 2.
The professional advantages that come when you operate at a clinical level of precision.
Charge more — confidently
When your assessment process is more advanced and your service is more individualized, your pricing becomes easier to justify. IMS Level 2 gives you the depth and the language to charge at a higher level without apology.
Earn the respect of other health professionals
Operating at clinical-level precision changes how other practitioners see you. You become a practitioner they trust to refer clients to — which opens the door to referral relationships and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Build a practice around the clients you want
Advanced assessment skills attract a different kind of client — one who takes their health seriously, values expertise, and is willing to invest accordingly. IMS Level 2 helps you build toward that client base deliberately.
Work with greater confidence and less doubt
Precision removes uncertainty. When you know what you are measuring and why, you stop second-guessing your decisions. Your sessions become calmer, sharper, and more effective — for both you and your clients.
Deliver results that build your reputation
Precise assessment leads to more targeted programming, which leads to better outcomes for clients. Better outcomes generate trust, testimonials, and referrals — the kind of reputation that builds a practice without relying on marketing.
Operate at a level most practitioners never reach
The majority of coaches and trainers never develop beyond surface-level assessment. IMS Level 2 puts you in a much smaller group — practitioners who can assess, prescribe, and deliver at a standard that is genuinely hard to find.
Common questions, straight answers.
Specialist postural and movement assessment tools are used during the practical sessions. You will be advised in your pre-course information which items are provided on the day and which, if any, you should bring with you.
Early Bird pricing is a reduced rate available when you book at least 3 months before the course start date. For IMS Level 2 the Early Bird rates are: US and Canada US$2,987 (standard US$3,147); UK and Europe £2,265 (standard £2,395); Australia $3,325 AUD (standard $3,595 AUD). The Early Bird window closes 3 months before each session, so the exact deadline varies by date and location — check the course schedule or registration form for the session you want.
IMS Level 2 Live is a practical 5-day Advanced Training Programme focused on neuro-developmental movement analysis, delivered in person by CHEK Faculty. You will learn infant-development assessment as a way to identify the physical, emotional and mental causes of movement inefficiency, along with Paul Chek's Primal Pattern® system of movement analysis. By the end you will be able to customise any exercise to suit an individual's ability and skill level, and design fully tailored programmes from a needs analysis for each client. This lets you trace a client's issues back to their root cause across integrated body systems — the hallmark of CHEK Practitioner Level 2 (Integrated Health Coach) — giving you the knowledge and supervised practice to work with clients with confidence.
IMS Level 2 is a professional certification within the CHEK Institute's internationally recognised Career Path. Completed together with HLC Level 2 and the supporting online courses, IMS 2 takes you to CHEK Practitioner Level 2 — the Integrated Health Coach designation — building directly on your Level 1 (Functional Health Coach) qualification. This is a respected professional credential within the health and fitness industry; note that it is a CHEK professional certification rather than an accredited academic or post-secondary qualification.
There are five levels: IMS 1 (5 days), IMS 2 (5 days), IMS 3 (5 days), IMS 4 (5 days), and IMS 5. Each level has its own prerequisites and leads to a recognised CHEK Practitioner designation.
The five Career Path milestones are:
1. CHEK Practitioner Level 1 — Functional Health Coach
2. CHEK Practitioner Level 2 — Integrated Health Coach
3. CHEK Practitioner Level 3 — Rehabilitation Specialist
4. CHEK Practitioner Level 4 — Clinical Specialist
5. CHEK Practitioner Level 5 — Master CHEK Practitioner
There is also a 'CHEK Trained Professional' entry-level status, achieved upon completing your first Advanced Training Programme.
Building on Level 1, you need to complete: Advanced Program Design 2nd Edition, Holistic Health and Performance for Women, and Primal Pattern® Eating (online courses); plus HLC Level 2 and IMS Level 2 (Advanced Training Programmes); and the resources The Last 4 Doctors You'll Ever Need and the CHEK Guide to the HTEMBH HAQ.
Building on Level 2, you need to complete: Infant Development, Spinal Structures and Function, and The CHEK Approach to the Lower Limb (online courses); plus IMS Level 3 (Advanced Training Programme).
IMS 2 focuses on neuro-developmental movement analysis. You will learn infant development assessment as a means of identifying the physical, emotional and mental causes of movement inefficiency, and Paul Chek's Primal Pattern® system of movement analysis. You will be able to customise any exercise to suit individual ability and skill level, and design fully tailored programmes based on a needs analysis for each client.
Each level significantly expands your scope. At Level 1 (Functional Health Coach) you can design advanced exercise programmes and use lifestyle assessments holistically. At Level 2 (Integrated Health Coach) you can trace illness and injury back to its root cause across integrated body systems. Level 3 (Rehabilitation Specialist) adds spinal and lower limb rehabilitation. Level 4 (Clinical Specialist) covers the upper quarter and complex clinical cases. Level 5 (Master CHEK Practitioner) represents full mastery of the CHEK system including mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions of health.
Prerequisites (must be completed 30 days before the course, or 60 days for Advanced Program Design): completion of IMS Level 1 including exam; current status as a Licensed CHEK Professional; Advanced Program Design 2nd Edition; and either Scientific Stretching or Holistic Health and Performance for Women.
Prices vary by region:

- UK & Europe: £2,395 (Early Bird £2,265)
