Leigh Brandon

Leigh has been working in the field of health and fitness since 1996. From 1999 to 2004, Leigh worked as a personal trainer and manager and educator of personal trainers. In 2004, Leigh formed his practice, BodyCHEK, in London where he still works today. Leigh finds it very rewarding helping people get out of pain and back to their sport in top condition. Leigh is the author of a number of fitness books, including The Tennis Biomechanic’s Manual, and developed the CHEK Tennis Conditioning Series Advanced Training Program for the CHEK Institute.
Some of Leigh’s clients have included British and European champions and record holders, and Olympic athletes. Leigh’s mission is to help as many people as possible to reach their health and performance potential, “so they can live more productive, fulfilling and happier lives.”
Angie Chek
CHEK Practitioner Level 2, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 3
Angie Chek is a Certified Nutritionist from the American Health Science University. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. Angie is the president of Angie’s World – a personal training and nutrition center located in Riverside, CA. Her interests include Energy Medicine, Shamanism, Chakra healing, and meditation.
Angie is a professional public speaker and has made numerous appearances in print and live media. Angie filmed a miniseries for PBS-KVCR on Hispanic Lifestyles in which she gives nutritional and exercise advice. She has also been heard or seen on NPR radio, Spencer PowerHour, Personal TrainerTV.com, HealthyLife.net, SpikeTV, Oxygen Magazine, Muscle & Fitness HERS magazine, and many more. She has produced two exercise videos and has developed a line of personal skin care products. She has published her first book, Body by Angie, which is available at amazon.com and all major bookstores.

Nicole DeVaney
CHEK Practitioner Level 4, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 3
Nicole is Co-owner of Iron & Salt in Salt Lake City, Utah. Iron & Salt is a multi-fusion gym with a kitchen where food is an integral part of the healing process. She specializes in women’s health, nutrition, and spirituality.
In 2006, before becoming a CHEK Practitioner, Nicole experienced a spinal injury that left her unable to paraglide, teach dance, do yoga, carry her daughter, or even walk without debilitating pain. After working with a CHEK Practitioner, she rehabilitated more than just her spine. The gift of movement was returned and she embarked on a new path toward becoming part of the world’s leading institute of holistic medicine. Now, Nicole joyfully spends her days paying the gift of health and happiness forward by guiding others to take charge of their own personal well-being.
Ashley Mazurek

Ashley began her career in the fitness industry in 1990. Since then, she has accumulated a wealth of entrepreneurial knowledge gathered through the multiple fitness facilities she has owned and operated. Her roots stem from teaching group fitness, seminars and corporate wellness, and competing at a nationally ranked level in triathlons and Iron-Man competitions.
Currently, she concentrates on working with clients in Tampa, Florida, teaching for the CHEK Institute, studying for her Esoteric Healing certification, conducting her own seminars, participating in speaking events, as well as developing health and fitness products.
Ashley is passionate about her family, enjoying the outdoors, and growing within her “self”.
Suzi Nevell
CHEK Practitioner Level 4, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 3
Suzi’s 25+ year professional career as a physiotherapist describes not only her extraordinary qualifications and experience, but also the founding philosophy behind her unique practice. After some years touring the world with a variety of high performance athletes and sports teams, and becoming New Zealand’s Women’s Trampoline Champion, Suzi moved to the United States.
While there, she was invited by Paul Chek to join the CHEK Institute’s senior teaching staff in San Diego. Over the course of the next 16 years, she absorbed Paul’s teachings on blending physical, nutritional, mental, emotional and spiritual coaching into a coaching model for health.
Today, Suzi brings all her experience, professional expertise and philosophies on life, health and wellbeing, for the benefit of the Institute’s students.

Joanna Rushton is Founder of the Energy Coaching Institute in Australia, where she heads a multi-disciplinary private practice leading the way in preventative and corrective health. Matt Sorensen

Matt has over ten years industry experience starting with the study of nutrition in Europe to strength and conditioning in Sydney. Matt is also a certified Massage Therapist and Visceral Manipulator. Matt uses a wide variety of modalities including acupuncture, massage, neural manipulation and corrective exercise. He produces integrative and individualized programs that have helped athletes and individuals improve performance, prevent injuries, and better their health and vitality. Matt is very passionate about health and loves sharing what he knows through workshops, presenting, and one-on-one consultations.
Matthew Wallden
MS (Osteopathic Medicine), CHEK Practitioner Level 4, CHEK Golf Performance Specialist, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2
Matthew Wallden originally qualified as an osteopath and naturopath in London. Later, while working clinically and lecturing on osteopathic technique, he completed a post-graduate Master’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine before embarking on the CHEK Practitioner Program. He has consulted for various top sports teams including Chelsea Football Club, Charlton Athletic Football Club and Surrey County Cricket Club. As a corrective exercise specialist, Matthew has lectured at four major UK osteopathic colleges and on many post-graduate courses for medical, rehabilitation and fitness professionals. Matthew has spoken at many international conferences, runs various professional forums and has written a number of peer-reviewed articles. He is currently involved in several book publications, including his upcoming book “The Hamstring Syndrome”, and sits on the advisory board of the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies.
Matthew’s work is his passion; he loves to help people to better health through coaching and treating patients, and teaching other practitioners. Matthew is proud to be a faculty member at the CHEK Institute; the work of whom has fully embraced and epitomized the ideals Matthew has always driven towards.
Carl Weston

Carl has been working his way around the world training and coaching many different people and professionals. In London, Carl worked with professional athletes at a sports rehab clinic and also trained at a private health spa. Then he moved on to Bermuda to run and coach at a corporate facility. Now, Carl operates his own facility in Toronto, Canada called Raven Wellness, working with other CHEK professionals to spread the knowledge and teachings of the CHEK Institute.
Carl found the CHEK Institute at a time in his life when he was questioning many things, but found through following the CHEK system and methods, that he was on the right path. He has huge passion and respect for the Institute.
Carl’s life has become a reflection of the CHEK system and tools, and he implements them even when not training or working. He has a great passion for many sports and has competed at surfing and rugby at high national levels. Continuing his love for the ocean, outdoor sports and travel, he spends most of his time doing these things with his dog, Benson.
Warren Williams

Warren is a traveler on the path of growth, a peaceful warrior, having learned that life is the lesson.
Warren combines a great feel for body movement and mechanics, fostered by over 25 years of martial arts practice, with 20 years studying esoteric practices such as meditation, energy healing, and emotional self management to help people honor themselves and become their own master.
Over the past 14 years, Warren has honed his mastery of the CHEK system whilst integrating his unique understanding of martial arts, energy healing, and life coaching.
Warren has successfully coached a diverse clientele from elite world class sports men and women, to corporate leaders, to injured moms and other CHEK practitioners and healthcare professionals. He has consulted to premiership football teams and assisted those deemed medical failures to full health.
