What does the term cheap food really mean to you?

For too many people, it’s finding a cheap “meal deal” at one of the six palaces of fast food you see at nearly any busy street corner around the world…

Yes, it’s cheap and fast, but it’s contains so many artificial flavorings, dyes, preservatives, pesticides, herbicides, rodenticides and fungicides that it’s more of a toxic chemical formula than it is it real food.

For many of you, this series on the benefits of organic foods will be a review, but there’s plenty of people out there who need an extra reminder just how toxic most foods are… They’re processed, not grown, nurtured or cared for and produced largely to fill some rich company’s coffers over your health!

If you get anything out of the first part of my series about the benefits of organic foods, it’s this one thing and it comes straight out of How to Eat, Move Be Healthy and I cannot repeat it enough: You are what you eat!

If you eat SAD CRAP, the Standard American Diet full of Carbohydrates, Refined Foods, Additives and Preservatives, you’re not caring for your body and throwing your money away.

A few more books you can use to study the benefits of organic foods as we go forward in this series include Paramagnetism: Rediscovering Nature’s Secret Force of Growth by Philip Callahan and Secrets of the Soil by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird.

Love and chi,

Paul
