More About My Life Mandala Workshop
Mandala creation has been an integral part of healing and spiritual growth for many thousands of years among indigenous cultures and within various world religions. Carl Jung pioneered mandala painting and art therapy and it has now blossomed into a field of professional art therapists. Paul Chek was introduced to mandala therapy for healing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual challenges by Shaman, artist, music and art therapist Rowena Kryder in 2005, triggering a massive healing and outburst of creative expression through mandala drawing and painting that continues to this very day, having completed at least 1,000 mandalas since.
Paul was inspired to study art therapy systems, theory and practices extensively, which led to the creation of his own art therapy system that has been integral in his coaching, therapy and healing practices with students and clients from around the world.
Angie Chek, Paul’s co-instructor, also has extensive experience as an artist, creator of numerous mandalas for healing, manifestation and aids to shamanic approaches to accessing one’s unconscious, soul, and super-conscious mind. She is trained in Paul Chek’s art therapy system of mandala analysis and has helped countless people heal through mandala therapy.

What is the difference between the Live and Online versions of the workshop?
The live participants will receive a painting kit to take home with them, as well as tools to use to create their mandala while they are on-site. Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided both days. The assessment of each person’s mandala takes place in a group format, so everyone can see and experience the art analysis, including the online participants.
Online / Virtual
The online participants will need to provide their own painting supplies, and a detailed list will be provided upon registration. Online participants will be able to personally connect with Paul and Angie over the course of the two days, so get feedback while they are painting their mandala as well as an assessment of it once it is completed. Those who are on different time zones will be invited to share their mandala earlier in the day, so they do not have to wait up past midnight for their art to be assessed!
Please note that Day 2 may run later than 6:30pm, depending how long it takes to analyze each person’s mandala.
