For too long, health experts have believed eating too much fat was the primary catalyst for serious diseases like diabetes and obesity, or as Dr. Mark Hyman likes to call it “diabesity.”
However, people are starting to understand the real root of their health problems: The huge amounts of sugar they consume daily, not to mention what’s hiding in processed foods, that triggers inflammation. No wonder, considering, for example, Americans eat more than 60 pounds of sugar every year.
