In my video introduction to work-in exercises, I mentioned the Thoracic Mobilization exercise – a Zone 5 exercise from Paul Chek’s bookΒ How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy!Β The thoracic mobilization exercise is a great work-in exercise, with all of the general benefits – building energy, reducing stress, pumping fluids through your body and aiding in digestion.
But because it targets zone 5 – the lower neck, shoulders, arms and hands, it also has other targeted benefits. For example, if you have Thyroid challenges, this would be an excellent exercise for you.
Now, some of you wrote to me and asked if I could demonstrate how to do perform the exercise, so I thought I’d put together a quick demonstration for you.
Try it out and see how you feel. Zone 5 is also associated with communication. So if you’re feeling an inability to express yourself, doing this exercise may help you.
Enjoy!
