Recently, I talked to you about proper breathing through your diaphragm, the best way to create more mental-emotional stability and unload stress throughout your body.

In this video, I explain conscious breathing, another means to heal stress, allow personal development to blossom and change the quality of your life.

Considering the average human body breathes about 25,000 times each day, increasing the effectiveness of your breathing by just 5 percent through being more conscious can promote a positive shift in your mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

Think about it… When you perceive a threat, your belly tightens which shifts your breathing up to your chest in a split-second. Then, as your breathing quickens, it becomes shallower, activating the upper accessory muscles in the neck which creates forward head posture that tightens your posterior neck.

Then, this ripple effect can create headaches, and increase your thoracic spine which may lead to thoracic outlet syndrome (numbness and tingling in your hands and fingers) and even a bulging disk.

All of these problems start with a simple and fixable inverted breathing problem that persists over time without treatment.

As you watch my video, think about the daily stressors that may affect your breathing and deplete your energy, then take the steps to train yourself to recognize those situations and embrace conscious breathing.
