You may be looking at the headline of this blog and wondering if I’ve become a vegetarian again!

Don’t worry… I’ve been a vegetarian twice in my life, but I still love meat!

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be concerned about how much meat you’re eating, because our Western culture consumes way too much of it.

Are you paying attention to where you’re buying your meat? Depending on where that animal was raised, it could be fed anything from genetically modified grains to very disgusting things you’d never eat in a million years!

And, what about the toxic load those poor animals face due to insane amounts of antibiotics and growth hormones they’re given which, in turn, expose us to antibiotic-resistant bacteria that harms our health?

In my video, you’ll learn more about how farm animals are typically raised (poorly!), the signs that your body is being harmed by the meat you’re eating and some tips you can use to protect your health.

Need guidance about your diet? I hope you’ll consider my book, How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy, now in its second edition.

You’ll also learn a lot about making better food choices by reading Rocket Fuel on a Budget, the very awesome book written by CHEK Faculty Member and master chef Jo Rushton who shows you how to create healthy meals from scratch that won’t hurt your pocketbook.

Love and chi,

Paul
